yep, IC is very well known, cant go wrong there.

also, electronic engineering graduates from Essex university these days 
come well versed in such magic as C, csh, java and LaTeX, all with mandatory
*nix related projects under thier belt. 

i cant say for sure the same can be said for comp sci graduates tho.
