Could you try getting the page via telnet and letting us know the output?
telnet hostname 80
GET /path/script.cgi HTTP/1.0

You'll need to hit enter twice after the "GET..." line. Let us know
what the headers that get returned are. Check that the text or html
following them is what you expect, but don't bother pasting more than
a line or two of it into your reply.
