I have a cheapo Origo wireless broadband router, which has Conexant 
firmware.  To disable the WLAN all I have to do is open up the box and 
unplug the PCMCIA card, are these 11g things not built along similar 
lines?  I assume you could just sell the PCMCIA card on eBay if you 
really didn't want it...
