[Gllug] Lightning Talks

Judging by the audience at the last GLLUG meeting, the lightning talks
format was a success. About half the audience put their hands up to the
question "Would you be prepared to give a lightning talk?".

So, this is a chance to make good on that foolish promise.

Lightning talks can be about pretty much anything as long as it is
vaguely related to Linux or Free Software. The important thing is that
the talk should be no longer than 15 minutes (and 5 minutes is fine).
If you think you could talk for 15 minutes about a suitable subject,
please e-mail gllugadmin at gllug.org.uk with your idea.

We want to see some new talent at future GLLUG meetings: we know that
there are plenty of skilled people on the list who have never given a
talk. The lightning talk format is less demanding and intimidating than
the prospect of giving a long, more formal talk and we hope that more of
you will be prepared to take part.

So, come on and send in your ideas. Your LUG needs you.
