It's not urgent. My request for a quick copy was because I can't be arsed
to sit there while it chugs through several gig.

Looks like I'm heading towards a for loop with mnt + cp/tar. Well,
that'll do. I just wondered if the group had any magic up their
sleves that I hadn't found on google!

Thanks to everyone who has chipped in ideas. I will employ many of them.
