Are your clients configured (via DHCP or manually) to use the Samba box
as their PDC?

I think Win2k+ might need this in order for Win9x/ME machines to show
up, and if you do any cross-subnet stuff, then you'll likely want WINS,
too. Remember that you only want one WINS server though (mm,
scalability)
