[Gllug] Saturday: anyone fancy installing Linux on an ibook?

After three loyal years of service I upgraded from my iBook
and put it on eBay last week. I had to post it to its new owner
today, and found myself a little distressed, leaving it all by itself
in the Post Office.

*sniff* I'll miss Fluffy.

Erm anyway the point of my post was to add to the comments about 
partitioning - I would say (just incase you were thinking about it)
don't bother trying UFS - I found everything much, much slower.

Mind you this was a couple of years ago.

And Debian installs over http like a dream! There are a couple of
good web pages quite googlable about doing that.
