[Gllug] Hardware RAID On-Disc Format

ISTR there being some discussion recently on the kernel mailing list
about a proposal circulating for all RAID - hardware and software - to
have the same on-disk formats. Quite how far it's got, I don't know -
but it should be pretty easy to track down. (I don't keep an archive to
search...)

It does seem like one of those things any sensible industry would get
round to one day, though...
