[Gllug] Memory usage when idle

All depends on what you are doing of course.  On a laptop, screen
estate is usually at a premium and if you only do shells, emacs and a
bit of web browsing, why waste any to a window manager?  I am quite
happy with ratpoison (http://ratpoison.sf.net) myself for such
usage...
