Very soon if Mr. Blunkett has his way.

BTW, free software is commoditised software.  Linux is a commodity in
the same way that the PC standard is a commodity - no one wholly owns
it, and everyone can ship versions of it.  This is the reason why
Microsoft are scared as hell: we could be looking at the early 80s PC
revolution all over again, applied to software instead of hardware.
