[Gllug] Still no decent FTP client for Linux?

I know you say you dont want to use CLI, but you can script things like ncftp
and use its sub commands ncftpput and ncftpget 

maybe even add it to the applications list in kde or gnome so you can do a
right click and select 'ftp to server1' etc.

ncftp also has tab completion, once you take the time to get used to it then it
will serve you well,

failing that, ive never had any bother with gftp. even natilus works well with
the gnome-vfs based ftp you can have a sftp or ftp location as a icon on your
desktop.
