[Gllug] T22 + irda problem

Hi folks

I've got IBM Thinkpaddie T22, debian unstable, and kernel 2.6.9.
Anyone lucky with irda port running on T22?

findchip finds it well:
Found NSC PC87338 Controller at 0x2e, DevID=0x0b, Rev. 2
    SIR Base 0x3e8, FIR Base 0x3e8
    IRQ = 4, DMA = 3
    Enabled: yes, Suspended: no
    UART compatible: yes
    Half duplex delay = 0 us

driver's loaded fine ( I had to disable RS232, otherwise serial_port 
grabs IRQ and IO space, for some reason) :

nsc-ircc, Found chip at base=0x02e
nsc-ircc, driver loaded (Dag Brattli)
IrDA: Registered device irda0
nsc-ircc, Found dongle: Reserved

but still da thing doesn't work.
