One thing - I guess you can't blame PC motherboard manufacturers for
using components only specced for around 3 years of operation - the
ideal for them would be for the motherboard to die the day after you
upgrade it, just like the people who build F1 cars would like to build
them so they fall apart the moment they cross the finish line...
