This is embarrassing, I've used that before, and I can't
understand why I didn't think of it this time.
I've now got 'wireless-tools' installed, but running
#iwconfig just shows 'lo - no wireless extensions'
and the same for 'eth0' and 'sit0'.
I booted up Knoppix 3.4 to see if it would recognise
the Adaptor automatically, but it didn't do so. I'm
assuming 'kernel/drivers/net/wireless' is required, but
then the question of the correct driver and whether a
kernel patch is needed has been the subject of a mass of
correspondence, most of which is beyond me.
Can any one take me forward, please.
