[Gllug] Upgrading a PC in situ

All this talk of 1GHz CPUs being "old" has finally prompted to do
something about my power workstation - an 800 MHz Duron.
I've ordered a ready-made motherboard/Processor/Heatsink/Fan/RAM
combination. An ATX board with Athlon 64 3000 CPU and 1 Gig of RAM.
The power supply in my target box was upgraded about 6 months ago
because the old one died and I fitted a higher spec one (350 watts and
specifically claiming to be suitable for an Athlon 64).
I am proposing simply to open up, remove peripherals, remove m/b,
install new m/b, re-connect and close the box. Is there anything else
I'm likely to need to do? Additional case fans perhaps? The box is
fairly empty with just a single HDD and an oldish video card (not
powerful enough to need a fan).
TIA,
John
