Yes, as a desktop Linux system at the moment you will have problems with
the sound (although apparently that is likely to be sorted soon) and
perhaps with the power management/sleep. Also, being a broadcom chipset
wireless card (if you get that option) it won't work with Linux for all
the usual reasons.
As a budget dedicated server though these things really seem rather
good. A lot more responsive than a virtual server for example.
