[Gllug] Modern (large) IDE drives in a Sun Ultra 5

Does anyone know if it's possible to plug modern IDE drives (I think
they are both 40 or 60 GB) into a Sun Ultra 5?  The drives are a
software RAID 1 pair, formatted under Linux on i386, and I'd like to
get the data off on the only working machine I've got here which is
the aforementioned Sun, running Debian GNU/Linux.

To be honest, I'm going to try this later on.  But I'd kind of like to
know if it's a complete non-starter before I get my screwdriver out
and dismantle both machines.
