Ah. The `famous' made me think `infamous', and I can't think of anyone
actually doing useful work on large free software projects who's
garnered that sort of notoriety, unless you were employing Jeff Merkey.
(IME, the free software world has plenty of arrogant sods and even a
sprinkling of people like Andre Hedrick or H.J. Lu whose communication
skills are... decidedly unusual, but not many useless active
contributors. The phrase is almost a contradiction in terms: if they're
useless, they can't be active contributors.)
