I thought I would follow Tom's example and say hello.

I have been using Mac's since 1985, know my way around Windows but 
rather not and have been playing with Ubuntu, Yellow Dog Linux, Gentoo 
and AIX.

With Apple slowly going stupid I decided to join this mailing list and 
get more serious about Linux. Can anyone recommend a good laptop to run 
Linux on? I want it small (sub 12"), have wifi and long battery life. 
Don't care much about the rest.
