Clock here usually gains the odd sec or 2 whereas the Win98 machine loses 
time like a sieve...but why should I get that error when trying to login? 
Perhaps cookies were being blocked...but I hadn't changed that between last 
access and now.  Anyway, it appears to be working again now.
