If you mean `it's a freqently-merged Debian fork sharing many developers
with Debian itself', say so. `Technology' is so overused as to be
entirely meaningless.

Doing that would be a bit of a waste of time given the overlap between
the two projects. It'd be like bashing Emacs over XEmacs, or one of the
BSDs over another.
