Release notes for 0.9.5
--------------------------------------

Default for Recording:
In this version, the defaults for recording have changed, by default
LiVES will now record real time effects, clip switches, and FPS changes
whenever 'r' is pressed before playback.

You can revert to the old recording behaviour by going to
Preferences/Recording and deactivating Realtime Effect and Clip Switch
recording.

Frei0r Support:
This release contains support for Frei0r effects. You can use these by:
downloading Frei0r effects from
http://frei0r.kexbox.org/download/source/<latest_version>

Create the directory /usr/local/lib/frei0r-1
Install the plugins following the frei0r instructions.
Create a subdirectory in /usr/local/lib/frei0r-1, e.g
/usr/local/lib/frei0r-1/generic, and move the plugins into there.
Copy the file frei0r.h into /usr/local/include/
Reconfigure/recompile/reinstall LiVES:
./configure && make install

Frei0r effects can be bound to keys in LiVES using the realtime effects
window (ctrl-v)

default.keymap updates
If you run this version of LiVES, the file ~/.lives-dir/default.keymap
will be upgraded to the current version. This means that if you revert
to an older version of LiVES, your default realtime effect keys will no
longer be loaded. If you plan to only test this version, you are advised
to backup your current default.keymap file for later use.

Weed technology:
This release contains Weed technology ! For more details, see the Weed
spec at http://www.xs4all.nl/~salsaman/lives/docs/weedspec.txt

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Have fun !
Gabriel.
