[Gllug] [Lbc] Help please - Router Problem (fwd)

Hello,
   Has anyone seen this problem before? I gather it is a problem affecting
passive and active FTP, and HTML access on more than one site (Debian and
SuSE) yet it works on others.

I have a D-Link DSL-504T router etho connected.  It connects happily and I can 
email and browse without problem.  However, I am using it on a Debian box and 
it will not connect to any apt sources.  A substitute Creative router 
downloads from the same apt sources quite happily.  Both are on the factory 
settings.

Can anyone help please - before I chuck it in the skip.
