For what it's worth, I seem to remember the current Netgear PCMCIA card
just worked in my Ubuntu laptop, but it belonged to my sister and she
lended it to someone who can't seem to remember it at all, so she went
back to Curry's (that's what I mean by "current" :) and got a Belkin USB
stick for half the price. That works in Linux with the rt2570 module.
The model is F5D7050 and if you don't mind compiling kernel modules and
a 4" extension to your laptop, it "just works".
