[Gllug] Sound Recording on Line-In

Hello,

My Dad wants to transfer his record collection to mp3.  He has an old
pc with a decent soundcard, which we can throw debian onto.

We've got a phono pre-amp and appropriate cables to send line-level
signal into the card.  Question is what very simple (preferably
command-line or curses) software is recommended to capture the input
(presumably to wav?) ?
