I'd agree with that statement and offer the following grumbles about them:
- They don't line wrap at around 65 characters at all [0]
- They break mailing list threads [0]
- They encode emails in plain text *and* HTML even though they offer
NO HTML formatting features whatsoever (which is good, but why then
encode the email in HTML wasting expensive GPRS bandwidth) [0]
- They just have the most retarded quoting style. [0] Hitting reply on
a mail places your cursor at the top of the previous email, but you
cannot edit the previous text whatsoever. If you want to quote part of
the previous mail you have to copy that part, select then hit reply.
Delete the entire previous mail and add your comment.
Of course the previous mail isn't indented with > characters so it
looks crap anyway.
Trying to hold a technical team debate over blackberry email results
in a horrible amount of top-posting or if people try to quote
correctly complete loss of context
Apart from that they are OK.
