Hi,
My company is moving services back in house after a bad experience, when
our partner was reduced to a one man shop. I would like to receive some
recommendations, preferably based on personal experience, with UK
companies that:
- provide domain registrations, have a good reliable system and
generally take the hassle of dealing with Nominet off your back
- do brilliant Linux server hosting dedicated/colo etc. NS & MX are in
house now, so are all the Debian servers (started using vservers
recently, but in full control, our own hardware, rack in Redbus) -- but
might be interested in outsourcing some of these to clueful Debian
people, we are web app shop after all.
- have high technical competence. OK, HIGH. I am not dealing with people
who put pri & sec NS in the same rack *ever again*.
- have experience with HA setups, BGP tunelling, advanced routing, big
setups with ZEO (Zope) cluster / squid caches would be a bonus.
In particular, what do you guys think about Positive Internet?
