Indeed. 120 second ping-pong latency would not be impressive
on a Beowulf cluster.
However, at Streamline we would breed a special strain of
fast mice, which take a lightweight low-capacity USB stick.
These mice would be trained on a diet of cottage cheese and ryvita,
and kept in the peak of fitness at our build centre, ready for
customer special order.
(Seriously, that's what we do. Low-latency drivers which make
gigabit ethernet clusters go like the clappers).
