[Gllug] 'lost' partition -- can anyone help?

fdisk is usually in /sbin or /usr/sbin as it is a superuser command.
so su - first
you might actually just try
fdisk -l
with no arguments as it should show you all the partitions it an see, 
whatever disk they happen to be on.

what does that tell you?
