[Gllug] Burning DVD?

So I've downloaded an MPEG2 movie[1] and want to watch it on the DVD 
player.  I don't want menus or slideshows or any of that gumpf.  
Perfectly happy to stick the DVD in the player and have the movie just 
start.

So what's the easiest way to burn it?  It's in the right flavour of 
MPEG, but presumably it needs to be turned into VOBs somehow.
