it's going to be something like:

modprobe ppp_generic
modprobe ppp_synctty
modprobe n_hdlc
modprobe usbcore
mount none /proc/bus/usb -t usbdevfs
modprobe usb-uhci
#or usb-ohci or uhci
modem_run -f /lib/firmware/mgmt.o
#or
modem_run -f /lib/firmware/speedtch-1.bin
#or
modem_run -f /lib/firmware/speedtch-2.bin
pppd call adsl updetach

#Wait for a few seconds (20) and check if the link is up by typing:
sleep 20
ifconfig ppp0
