[Gllug] Getting my Dreamcast to boot 2.6.14

(This is a general Linux question, honest)

I get quite far with this on my Dreamcast and then get this:

(The DC then hangs)

I have never seen these Starting network and run-parts messages before -
can anyone tell me where they come from and what they're about?
