Yep Utter Rubbish True large graphical apps like ooo will not run very
well on older hardware, but so long as you have at least a 386 chip,
and 16 meg of ram and 32Mb of swap everything will run, Just slightly
slow than it would on better hardware. Believe me I've done it, (Years
ago now but nothing has fundamentally changed...)
after all why do you think the standard kernel gets marked i386?
