Hello chums,

Work is having a clearout and I am the proud owner of a SGI 02 Workstation

( They've been under my desk for about a year to avoid someone casually
throwing them out but they are now free.. FREE I tell you )

I have 2 units and I'm giving the worse of the two away.

It won't boot into IRIX as I had a borked BSD installation experience a
while ago and the partitions are destroyed but the disk is fine.

The CD-ROM needs replacing.. the motor inside doesn't open the drawer so
you should replace it. I believe it is a standard CD ROM unit

It has a 4GB SCSI disk and what appears to be a lot of RAM (8 sticks)
but not sure how much memory in total

AFAIK everything else works on it, but it is being given away "as seen"

To pick it up you need to:

* Mail me offlist. Rather than rely on the random speed of delivery on
the mailing list and give it to the first person I'll collect the
replies until 1700 today and ask a colleague to pick a name

* Collect it from Westbourne Terrace, Paddington at some stage

* Place a crisp folded £10 note into the first person selling Poppies
that you see (I'll trust the "winner" to do this - you can just pick it up)
