Sadly not.  In fact, I just bought a big wodge of batteries to replace
the ones in the radio.  Not cheap, not green.

One of these days I'll get out the soldering iron and try to solder on a
direct audio input to the radio, to at least cut out the FM transmitter
component.  Ideally, I'd also get the power for the radio itself from
the rechargable front light, but that's probably beyond my meagre
electronics skills.
