[Gllug] Fedora Core 4 sound - just an observation

Sometime ago I complained here about poor sound quality on my box after
upgrading to FC4 from FC3.

At the end of last week Fedora issued a new esd RPM and I duly uploaded
it. At about the same time sound quality improved dramatically. Anybody
else notice this?
