[Gllug] Getting top to output ascii and exit?

I've been doing a lot of diagnostics recently using 'slabtop'.
The output of slabtop --once is full of control characters.
Sadly doesn't seem to be a --batch option.
the easy workaround is just to cat /proc/slabinfo
