[Gllug] Printing with Canon i965

All,

I am running Ubuntu as a mail/gateway server. I now want to make it my 
print server for my network as well.

I have a Canon i965 usb printer and it seems the only driver I can find 
is the TurboPrint one. Does anyone know
of an alternative? Preferably free.

Eventually I will share it via Samba so I can print from Windows, are 
there any issues with this?

Does anyone know of a specific howto for Canon printers.
