[Gllug] [OT] Testing internal line quality

Hi

Has your ISP done an ADSL line check? (this is different to the line 
check that BT Retail do and is more intrusive and checks a lot more 
stuff  than your lines good enough to get ADSL which is all that 150/2 
will tell you)

Also have you plugged router into the master socket? (quite often this 
is actually hidden behind the face plate of the actual  primary phone 
socket)

A good ISP [there are some around, like my employers] would have gone 
through the above and more already and be doing everything they can to 
resolve the issue, so excuse me if i'm going through stuff thats already 
been done.

I would also be interested in any internal line testing tools, methods
