Meh I can [Alt +Tab] between my programs and [Ctrl +F1] between my
virtual desktops.

I prefer to retouch photos in GIMP, do some 3D modeling / rendering in
Blender, etc. Of course I still love things like ssh, cvs, bash
scripting, gnu utils, etc.

My points are:
that a GUI is not neccessarily mouse driven, 
that a GUI is sometimes essential, 
that sometimes a CLI is better
and that it is possible to combine the best of both worlds.
