OK, that looks highly incriminating.  Seems you have the ifrename tool
installed, which means you either have the wireless-tools or ifrename
package installed (they are mutually exclusive).  Which is it?  And
what, if anything, do you have in /etc/iftab?


Hummingbirds are the only birds that can fly backwards, apart from
ostriches if you punch them hard enough.
