[Gllug] SATA Laptop Hardrive

I hope someone here knows the answer to this.  I have a SATA laptop hard 
drive (Samsung HM0800JL) and I need to archive / image it.  Can I put 
this hard drive in my desktop computer which has SATA on the mother 
board and a SATA power connector?  Or are the connectors on a laptop 
SATA drive different from those on a desktop drive?
