I remember hearing that some explosives were made using weedkiller & sugar,
the active bit in weedkiller being sodium chlorate, so I decided to have
a go. Didn't work, perhaps fortunately, 'cos by that time my chemistry teacher
had not explained the difference between 'chlorate' and 'chloride' :-)
