Unless the new companies act drastically expands this whole area on paper 
I can assure you it does not.

Casual communications are not official documents.

If they were every post-it note and notepad would have to be marked as 
official letters etc and they are not.

In the same way there is a fundmental difference between casual and 
official documents in electronic form.

Ask your legal adviser whether you should now insist upon company 
information being printed on post-its, etc.
