Hi,

I've recently bought one of these:

along with a Hauppage mediamvp, which is working nicely playing mpegs
from samba shares and nfs mounts. I am having some trouble getting the
T200 to work. Googling (and dmesg) suggests that the card should appear
as a v4l2 card under MythTv. When I go to set up capture cards, I am
given the option of composite or s-video, but no "tuner". The channels
option on the MythTv menu has the "scan" and "advanced" options
disabled.

Is there an easy way to test this card? Most google results just say
cat /dev/video0 | mplayer <args>, but my machine is headless, so that's
not really an option, and there seems to be no way of setting a channel
(there are a few tarballs which claim to be able to change the channel
on dvb cards, but most of them are linked to from 2.4 howtos). I have
tried cat /dev/video0 > test.mpg, but the file test.mpg is not
recognised as a valid format by mplayer or vlc.

I have upgraded my kernel to 2.6.15-1 (FC4), but still no luck. I did
have to change a jumper setting on the card, and wonder if that's
somehow broken the linux drivers - is there any way to test this? I had
to change from J8 to JX1 as the PC powercycled itself otherwise, and
this is the course of action recommended by the pigeon English
troubleshooting section of the manual.

I've been going round in circles of semi-useful online guides, and out
of date sourceforge projects, so I'm hoping someone here can point me
in the right direction! Below is the relevant output from dmesg, and
lspci -v.
