Indeed it is not impossible and some organisations exist to sell such a service.

This one [0] for example courted the organisation I work for and we
had a look at their product. It is a BSD powered SMTP relay with a
pretty interface for configuring the addition of HTML (and
occasionally plain text) templates and headers

They break email horribly - in fact I cannot read most of their
advertising mailshots I get from them which says a lot
