[Gllug] Uptime gone mad

	Hi list, I have a machine running Mandrake 8.1 for more than one year 
without reboot. Now, coming back from vacation, says the uptime is 8 
days. And it hasn't been rebooted (I know because it's still running 
mysqld, wich is not setup on init scripts). Kernel is 2.4.17, syslogd 
not running (on purpose :)
	Anyone knows how the kernel computes the uptime? Date is still correct. 
And last time I saw a correct uptime on that machine it was said more 
than 400 days.
