Interesting that someone has added that first short paragraph to it
which hasn't been there in all the copies which I've seen before.  It's
clearly by a different author because it a) introduces a new idea - that
many people *can't* read it and b) it doesn't conform to the given rule.

I suspect the first paragraph was added by the same person who thought
of trying to turn it into a chain letter and that the statistic is
totally bogus.
