Something I've found in places that use windows DNS servers is that if
somebody tries to go to a domain before you've added it to DNS, then
it will cache the nonexistance of the domain, and you won't be able to
access it for several hours or until you flush the cache manually on
the server.

I see this as a particularly nasty bug and it's been a huge pain when
making complex DNS updates for clients.
