[Gllug] Apple G3

Hi all,

I've been landed with an Apple G3 to set up as a gateway and file server 
for a few client boxes and have a few minor questions...

Are the hard drives standard IDE ATA drives?
Do they take standard pc monitors?

I ask, since I plugged it up and turned it on with the existing drive in 
it, but the display didn't power up. Since I've never used a mac in 
anger I'm a bit lost.
